Phases of Software Development
Didelot Consultants, Inc. employs five distinct phases in its approach to custom software development. This method allows us to gain personal insight into your business, develop a comprehensive understanding of the current work system, and project the potential improvements that you may achieve with a new system.

From the onset, we will take the time to learn your business' work flow, from the sources of the information going into the system to the intended end-use of the system. This method of software development may require a great deal of your personnel's time and input, we have found that acquiring a broad and thorough understanding of your computing need greatly increases our chances of constructing a system that meets your expectations, not only for the present, but well into the future.

The five phases of development that we employ are: Initial Analysis, Business Design, Construction, System Approval, and User Acceptance Testing and User Training. Review our detailed table defining each phase which contains the goal of each step, the company's involvement, and the end result.

These specific phases serve as a guideline for the development process. By closely following these steps we ensure that the project is developed correctly the first time and that costly and time-consuming re-work is eliminated. The specific steps within each stage are intended to be flexible enough to be modified to meet the joint need of the company and software analyst.
