ISGMapi Component
for Delphi
| Have you noticed that
"simple" mapi isn't that simple? Those API
calls that they expect you to make are a little
involved! We've been through the details and built a
nice friendly Delphi component to take the sting out of
your E-Mail development plans. Modifying the address
list is as simple as adding a string to a string list.
No complicated structures to deal with! Like our other
Delphi components, ISGMapi is native Delphi code
(therefore small and fast) and comes with online help. |
Did
you say E-Forms?
Microsoft built their e-form tool with
Visual Basic. We built ours with Delphi! They used a
sample app that you must modify. We made a component
that helps you get there quicker. There are a lot of
products that promise a little more than they can
deliver. Our component is not a comprehensive group ware
product. It does provide simple control packaging
functionality to your Delphi form. |
How
do E-Forms work?
The FormPackager component works with
the ISGMapi component to package the selected controls
on a form and store them in a file. This file is
attached to the message, and sent with the mail. When
the mail message is activated in the mail client (the
ini files for the mail client must be modified), your
application is executed. The control data is loaded from
the attachment and automatically placed in the
appropriate control. Ok, so maybe it does sound a little
difficult? Of course, the FormPackager component handles
the details for you. The FormPackager works with
Microsoft Mail not with Microsoft
