infsoft Admin
The infsoft Admin Tool is a central backend application within the infsoft LocAware platform®, designed for selected power users. It provides overarching management of technical system components and the configuration of core functions required for integration, security, and platform customization.
Central system configuration
The infsoft Admin Tool enables the central creation and management of subscriptions (customer instances). This includes assigning stored configurations, managing tenant settings, and handling project-specific data.
In addition, API access can be precisely configured, including endpoints, authentication mechanisms, and access restrictions. This makes the Admin Tool a key foundation for system integration and external interfaces.
Data sources & visualization
The Admin Tool also enables the integration of data sources and the configuration of BLE heatmaps. Parameters can be used to define, for example, density patterns or visualization layers for use in analytics applications.
This flexible structure allows data streams from different sources to be consolidated and made available for custom analyses, serving as a central component for data-driven applications within the platform.
Management of patterns
A key feature is the maintenance of patterns – visual and functional attributes used, for example, in the infsoft Maps Editor or the LocAware One App.
Patterns allow the definition of display elements such as colors, height values, or visibility at specific zoom levels. New patterns can be easily created, edited, and assigned system-wide using the Admin Tool.
User roles & permissions
Granular role and permission management is also handled through the Admin Tool. Administrators can define roles and assign permissions for specific functions or system areas.
The underlying view concept enables precise control over visibility and interaction rights, creating customized working environments for different user groups.
Script configuration & automation
Another key element is the management of server-side scripts, which enable automated workflows, process logic, or backend extensions within the platform.
Scripts can be created, activated, or modified directly in the Admin Tool, allowing both internal processes and customer-specific requirements to be implemented flexibly – a crucial component for scalable and extensible systems.

The infsoft Admin Tool is not a typical user frontend, but a technical control instrument for the platform architecture. It provides extensive options for system configuration and permission management.
