infsoft Hardware
The infsoft Hardware tool provides a complete, structured overview of all hardware components delivered by infsoft to the customer. It serves as a centralized inventory and monitoring solution and ensures consistent information across all connected tools within the platform through system-wide synchronization.
Centralized hardware inventory
The infsoft Hardware Tool consolidates all delivered devices in a central database and lists them with complete attributes. For each component, information such as MAC address, device type, firmware version, order number, and delivery status is recorded.
This standardized documentation provides transparency across the entire hardware landscape and simplifies tracking individual components across all projects.
Platform-wide synchronization
All hardware entries are automatically synchronized with other tools within the infsoft LocAware platform®. Relevant information, such as battery status, signal availability, or location context, is therefore available across the system.
This integration supports real-time monitoring of operational conditions and ensures rapid responsiveness in case of maintenance needs or device failures.
Lifecycle management & maintenance
The tool enables continuous tracking of firmware versions and delivery data, ensuring complete lifecycle monitoring.
Maintenance activities, such as firmware updates or battery replacements, can be planned, documented, and historically tracked. Additionally, the system provides a reliable data foundation for audits and quality assurance.
Registration & activation process
After hardware delivery to the customer, initial registration is carried out via the Hardware Tool. The recorded devices are automatically assigned to the respective subscriptions or applications, such as E-Ink displays or beacons.
Once activated and detected by the gateway, status information is transmitted in real time and updated in the system. This ensures that the current usage and battery status is always transparent and traceable.
Transparency & control
The Hardware Tool provides a comprehensive foundation for transparent documentation and management of the entire hardware inventory. In addition to operational data, it also offers important operational parameters to ensure efficient and sustainable hardware usage.
