infsoft Planner
The infsoft Planner is a specialized tool within the infsoft LocAware platform® that supports the planning and optimization of hardware infrastructure for RTLS projects. Designed for project managers and technicians, it provides a precise, visually guided way to determine optimal installation points for infsoft Locator Nodes, Locator Beacons, and other sensors. The goal is to ensure comprehensive coverage and optimal positioning with minimal planning effort.
Structured hardware planning
The infsoft Planner enables systematic planning of the required hardware components and their placement based on defined installation distances. The tool automatically generates installation-ready layouts, positioning devices such as beacons or gateways along lines or grid points.
Distances, room boundaries, and floors can be individually considered. Summarizing placements per level provides a transparent overview of the total requirements and forms the basis for material planning and technical coordination throughout the project.
Collaborative planning
The integrated share function allows current planning statuses to be easily shared with project partners, installation teams, or internal departments. Access is time-limited and enables viewing of 2D or 3D representations of the hardware infrastructure.
This ensures that all stakeholders work with the same information, without the need for separate data exports or manual coordination. Changes and feedback can be tracked directly in the tool, enabling seamless collaboration and fast decision-making processes.
Efficient implementation & installation
The visualized representation of planned hardware components supports on-site installation and serves as a guide for technicians or customers. Adjustments and retrofits can be made directly within the system, allowing iterative phases or structural changes to be efficiently incorporated.
