The market for Real-Time Locating Systems (RTLS) – with products and topics revolving around portable tags, sophisticated software and intelligent system integration – continued to see enormous progress in 2019 as more and more companies strive to generate great business value from the location of people and assets.
We at infsoft have also seized this ongoing trend to strengthen and expand our innovative RTLS solutions. Our use cases range from airport logistics to emergency management to modern office concepts. We have continued to pursue an approach of combining different technologies in order to offer reliable RTLS solutions. In this way, we enable not only localization systems for indoor environments but also a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor applications.
HARDWARE
The optimization of existing and the development of new hardware components is one of our key business areas. 2019 marks a new milestone in our hardware development. In addition to a redesign of our infsoft Locator Node and the development of a flexible mount bracket for quick and easy installation of infsoft Locator Nodes and infsoft 360° Antennas, we successfully launched a new product, the infsoft E-Ink Display Beacons The compact, energy-efficient hardware components use electrophoretic ink and enable the flexible and automated transfer of content while providing the possibility for location visualization and tracking.
MARKETING AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT
In 2019, we were working on further improving internal processes and overall quality management. As a result, we obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification which is an internationally recognized standard and ensures that we are delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.
Adding a video producer to our team has also enabled us to generate high-quality and exciting content for our YouTube channel and website. A major highlight was the realization of our infsoft corporate film.
Another milestone was the relaunch of our corporate website – redesigned with a fresh look and updated content.
TRADE FAIRS AND EVENTS
At DMEA – Connecting Digital Health Europe’s largest health IT event, we presented our digital applications for all areas of the healthcare industry and had many interesting discussions. Other successful events included the Long Night of Business and Science at which we opened our doors for exclusive business insights, and the University Information Day at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences.
We are very excited about what 2020 has to offer – a huge highlight will be the construction of a new office building, providing space for more employees and an IoT showroom, which is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
